Carson Grove ES

We had another great week at Carson Grove. A big highlight was MASC performer Louis Mercier who sang folk songs and played instruments and told traditional French-Canadian stories. Some of our junior students also participated in the regional Borden Ball tournament. A big thank you to Mr. Thomas and the other teachers who supported the team practices and accompanied the team to the tournament!

Now that spring weather has arrived, proper clothing (including splash pants, rubber boots, and light coats) is really important. Dressing in layers and sending students to school with some extra clothes/socks (if your child is the adventurous type when it comes to puddles and mud) are keys to students feeling comfortable in and out of school. On very sunny, warm days, hats, sunglasses, and a layer of sunscreen (ideally applied at home, for now) are also good ideas. May 16th SAVE the DATE!
