Carson Grove ES News - June 27th Final Summer 2024 Update
What a busy week! There was so much to celebrate!
Again this year, our many successes were thanks to the exceptional Carson Grove staff, a supportive School Council and other volunteers, amazing families, and fantastic students. We are quite the team!
On behalf of the entire Carson Grove team, we wish you and your family a safe and happy summer!
School Office Update and More About the First Day of School
Our school office is now closed for the summer and is scheduled to reopen on Monday, August 26th.
The first day of school for all students will be Tuesday, September 3rd. We will send more information to all families about what to expect once the school office reopens in August.

Staff News:
Goodbye and Thank you!
At this time of the year, we say thank you, goodbye, and good luck to a number of educators. In particular, we really appreciate the support of casual or term staff who replaced permanent staff or worked under special funding this year: educational assistants Masrufatul Zannat (Ms. Jui) and Ms. Sumaira Imtiaz; and, teacher Naomi Weber.
Additionally, some permanent staff members will be moving on to new adventures. Good luck to Mr. Corey (Stone), our Chief Custodian will be moving to Nepean High School for the year as Acting Chief Custodian.
Welcome!
We would like to welcome some new staff to Carson Grove for the 2024-25 school year. New staff members include: Educational assistants Sanaa Tizmart and Eli Roy; Acting Chief Custodian Bradley Larabie; and, teachers Tammy Bakker, Mona Kheiri, and Stephanie Rooke. Some additional staff will be hired for teaching and support positions, as needed, before the start of the new school year.
