Carson Grove School Council News
Our Final Meeting of the 2023-24 School Year was on Monday, June 3rd
At June’s meeting, we got the chance to meet with Cathryne Milburn, Trustee for Zone 12 (Orléans West-Innes and Beacon-Hill Cyrville), who represents the Carson Grove ES community on the OCDSB’s Board of Trustees. Council also looked back on the successes from this past year, including the May 16th community celebration and potluck.
School council meets in the evening at school about 6 times a year to talk about the school and how to make it the best place for all of our students to learn. We are also very interested in how to best connect and communicate with our community. Please look for more information in September about our meeting plans for the 2024-25 school year.
Elementary Program Review - Public Meetings
Thank you to those who came to the in-person Elementary Program Review sessions. Through these consultations, we heard the perspectives of students, parents/caregivers and staff regarding their experiences and how we should approach education in the future. You can still share your feedback on Engage OCDSB until Friday, June 28th at 4:00 p.m.
