Carson Grove ES News Update - Week of May 19th

It was amazing to see so many families out at our community celebration and potluck! The weather was perfect and the community really came together. Connecting with our community made it a really special evening. 

We would like to thank Carson Grove’s school council, the many Gloucester High School student volunteers, the bus drivers from ML Bradley, and our staff planning team for making it all happen! What a wonderful celebration!

Long Weekend in One Week - No School on Monday, May 19th

Welcome to Kindergarten Session for New Students in September 2025 on June 12th

Will your child be attending kindergarten for the first time this September? If so, you are invited to bring them to school on Thursday, June 12th from 2:30 to 3:15 pm. You and your child will get to be part of a kindergarten class with outdoor learning time, carpet learning time, and centre learning time led by members of the Carson Grove kindergarten team. It’s a great chance for your child to see what it’s like to be in kindergarten. Please call the school office at (613) 745-0195 (press 0) to let us know that you will be coming.

Message from Carson Grove Library

Many Carson Grove Junior students received their library cards to the Ottawa Public Library in the last 2 weeks. This is very exciting and we want to encourage families to go to the Public Library as much as possible during the summer months. You can borrow books and also participate in Library workshops and special programs. If you don't have a library card, you can walk to your local library with a parent and get a card. Click on the Library LINK to look for eBooks, Music Videos, Movies, Audiobooks, and lots of picture books.
