Week of May 15th Carson Grove ES News Update
It was another great week at Carson Grove! The highlight of the week was the grades 2 to 5 field trips to the Children’s Festival at LeBreton Flats. The weather was beautiful and students represented Carson Grove very well.
Looking forward to this week, both junior soccer teams will be in action at their regional tournaments. We will also be celebrating our 50th anniversary this Thursday.
May 18th - Carson Grove ES 50th Anniversary Community Celebration
We will be celebrating our 50th anniversary with a community party from 4:30 to 6:30pm on Thursday, May 18th. There will be a BBQ with Halal hot dogs, a potluck meal, and games and activities for the whole family. There will also be buses to bring families from the Donald Street apartments to school (and back again) for the celebration.

Joke or Riddle of the Day!
A “Joke or Riddle of the Day'' is featured daily on the morning announcements. There are two ways to share a possible joke/riddle of the day: Students will be able to pass along jokes/riddles at school in class using a Chromebook; or, they can suggest one with help from home by clicking here and completing a quick Google Form. Based on the overwhelming response levels in the past, not all jokes/riddles are used during the announcements. We do our best to find ones that match the time of the year and also try to make selections from a variety of classes.
